better …

sails furled up, Oban

I heard this quote earlier this evening (attributed to Cora L.V. Hatch) – and I paraphrase:

“I was caught in a storm and the wind blew me where I did not want to go. So I adjusted my sails to catch the wind to take me to a better place.”

And sometimes, before adjusting those sails, taking them down, curling them up and sitting still, in the calm, for a bit. Then put them up again and catch that wind.
